After growing up in Michigan, facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Bloom completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction in Biopsychology and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Michigan. He then attended the University of Michigan Medical School, a top ten-rated medical school, where he received various awards and honors for his academic and clinical achievements, including the Alfred Barrett Neuroscience Award and the Dean’s Commendation for Excellence in Clinical Skills and the Art of Medicine. Working with many facial plastic surgeons in the greater Philadelphia area, he was chosen to be Chief Resident. Dr. Bloom has authored over 25 journal articles and book chapters, and has given numerous presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Bloom works with multiple injectable and energy-based device companies as a consultant, trainer, speaker & clinical investigator. He also sits on many of these advisory boards and performs research studies and clinical trials in the area of facial plastic & reconstructive surgery. He serves as a consultant, advisory board member and/or clinical investigator for Allergan, Galderma, InMode, Sinclair, Zeltiq, ThermiAesthetics, Valeant and Alma Lasers.
These trials and his interest in training others has led him to teach physicians, nurses and injectors for a number of the injectables, laser and medical device companies, as well as be academically involved with teaching facial plastic surgery, plastic surgery and dermatology residents both at numerous medical programs in the Philadelphia area and across the nation.
